31 Days of Brujeria is celebrating latinx culture! Here's one in advance to get us ready for an important date. Día de Los Muertos, on November 1st. It’s a day to celebrate the spirit of our loved ones who have passed on. Mostly practiced in Mexico, they have many beautiful practices to honor this day.
My favorite would be leaving una ofrenda. It’s a simple loving gesture to leave your loved ones who’s spirit have ascended. The ofrenda can be anything they loved to eat, drink, or even smell. Lay some marigolds to help guide them to the altar of ofrendas you’ve created. Also light some candles and spend the day with amazing memories you shared with them. May peace be with you and of does who have blessed us with love and stories.
